Inside Sunshine

When the garden is covered in snow

Thank goodness for supermarket flowers this time of year! They make shopping for groceries almost fun.

Tempting, those bunches of flowers. I try to buy something in a pot so it can go in the garden later. Cyclamen being my choice at the moment.

We've got similar floral arrangements and I've often been impressed at how beautiful they are. Fortunately, we do have some color in the "wild" here during the winter. :-)

This is then a bright day.

I agree EG and they're quite reasonably priced too. It's too hot to buy flowers at the moment here, they don't last more than a day or two :(

This winter season requires. . .no, demands some color and brightness with flowers.

I bought a few bouquets of daffodils last week at the market. I was disappointed as they didn't seem to last but a few day. The next time I'm at the market I will buy something different. I am almost ready for tulips on the kitchen table.

Love those supermarket flowers, and what a gift of color to gift your self

Pretty and colourful. I like a bouquet in the house during winter, especially if there is something fragrant in it.

The grocery stores bouquets do look pretty with all the various colours in them. I have a couple of small poinsettias that just keep on going, but am feeling the urge to move them and pick up some tulips!

Thank you for the colour burst at Sunlit Sunday.

I'm nodding my head in agreement about the grocery store flowers. They certainly brighten up a glum winter day.
I don't mind grocery shopping - find it kind of fun.
