Apple Orchard

 Apple orchard fencing

Friends of ours own an apple orchard and winery in a town just south of where we live.

 Pick your own

This year the apples are big and juicy!

Don't they look delicious?

I am linking to Good Fences HERE.

I love that apples are coming. These look ready to pick! The other day as I was making cole slaw I added a few wedges of apple and it came out nice and sweet.

Yes - they look very mouthwatering!

I wish I could pick one and eat it right there under the tree. My favorite treat in the fall when I was a kid was to go to the apple orchard and get some cider.

I wish I liked apples, but the photos are beautiful nevertheless. That rugged fence is one of my favorites types of fences. Lovely sky in the background.

The apple growers here are saying that it was a great year for apples. I am thrilled about that because here, we all love apple pie.

These photographs are wonderful! I especially love the light in the last one.

Fantastic pictures of fruit we love. I must show these to Peter. The cold climate's reward, a splendid harvest in autumn. Fesh cider, mmh.

Such a fine place to visit! I usually go to a pick-your-own apple place in September or early October, but this year I missed out. Shame on me.

The very green grass, and the old fence, AND the way the light is shining on them. All of this contributes to such beauty here!!! Each picture is so lovely that I cannot pick a favorite.
