Scavenger Hunt

1. Details - birch bark

This week's prompts at Ashley Sisk's Scavenger Hunt are: Details, Friends, Comfort, Above and  New.  Here you see my interpretations.

2. Friend

Woman's best friend here is still a pup. He's tired and she is coaxing him to go just a bit farther to the car.

3. Comfort

A beautiful sunset makes me feel all comfy inside.

4. Above

There's a branch above this White-breasted Nuthatch's head.

5. New

This pigeon's colouring is NEW to me! This one has pinkish feathers on it's back.

Great Scavenger Hunt finds! I always enjoy your choices for the meme! Great shots! Love that nuthatch!

Oh, I wanted to tell you....yes, the mountains do protect us from the Gulf of California winds. All we got was some rain during Odile, and later for Simon. The southern counties were more affected. But, it's so unusual that most of the hurricanes this season have been in the Pacific! I used to have to deal with all that when I lived in Virginia and North Carolina, and earlier in Florida.

These were so nice. Your photos are so crisp and clear.
I find peeling bark quite fascinating.
Such a sweet shot of the dog.
Loved your sunset, gorgeous.
What a cute little bird.
Of yes that pigeon had some pretty colors on it's feathers.

Yours is a great set of photos. I like the details in the peeling bark. It looks like a one-eyed monster with a long nose to me. Nice sunset. The bird and the pigeon are both good captures.
