It might be falling apart but it looks like a work of art here in monochrome..

Excellent b&w. That poor old barn isn't going to be around much longer, I don't think. Although I saw some that looked like this one in Colorado from the 1800s.

A perfect monochrome subject. Photographed very well.

A beautiful shot! Good contrasts and a kind of "soft" look.

What a great monochrome ramshackle hut this is. I love it :)

An image that is more beautiful the more it's falling apart and decaying.

I keep thinking of my grandmother's phrase - coming from together...

Fascinating, artistic lines created by these weathered woods! Great in monochrome!

I guess those old boards have seen better days, BUT if someone took the time to carefully take them down, sand them and give them a coat of stain, just think what a beautiful wall it would make in a living room or den...

Neat shot in monochrome! You are lucky you can get such a close up of an old barn. They are not so close around here. Usually, the barns have a big old fence around them also.

Great textures in this b+w. It looks like you and Anne in Norway were on the same wavelength this week.

Looks great in a mono shot but a little sad seeing things fall apart.

Ah, more old wood in the country (was just over at Anne's in Norway). Beautiful and speaks of quiet times in the country.

I love this kind of shot, I think it's the texture in the wood that does it. It also reminds me of visits to the old Gold mining town of Bodie in the Sierras.
