There is always something about a lone sailboat on the water. It draws us in, causes us to think.

Thanks for explaining the b&w shot - I've gotta work on that.

Do you think the gull is up to something? Like stealing some freshly caught fish? ;-)

Indeed - and a nice red boat too. Simple and with a red point. Applause from me.

Love how that little bird looks like he has an eye on the red boat; he wants one, too.

Cool shot EG. I like to look at sailboats, but am a bit leary of riding in them. I saw one tip over once in a strong wind.
That rose came from Wal-Mart 2 years ago. They sell them every year in the early Spring. It has a tiny 1" blooms, and does great outside in my flower bed. I have 4 of them.

I love the way the sailboat pops at the center of the picture and the seagull looks like he is considering the possibility of moving in.

A super shot. Love the red on the boat. And has the gull come to the edge of the water to contemplate life as he knows it? we will never know. LOL MB

Cute little red sail x motor boat, so little and frail on the big water.

That lone 'red' boat sure stands out. I imagine that would be a lovely thing to do, wander about on the surface of water...

I can just imagine being out there so peaceful!

I'm amazed at how strong the red is, that it almost reduces everything else to black & white.
