Good question, Jacob. We can't grow ENGLISH walnuts here but we can grow BLACK walnuts. In fact, the driveway of this farm is lined with majestic black walnut trees.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Excellent picture of a very beautiful barn! The sky looks as if a thunderstorm is about to come.
You could not have taken a picture that I would have liked better...I LOVE the atmosphere that shows in this photo...as well as the subject matter.
what a beautiful barn
It looks beautiful and well tended. I'm with Rose on this one. I love barns!
I love it!
What makes this such a great photo is the light...the light on the barn, in the sky, and not in the clouds that hover!
Walnut Farm is an interesting name. They don't grow walnuts, do they...too cold...right?
Is that a family name? Mr. and Mrs. Dark Walnut?
Stunning structure in a glorious setting!
My fav, EG!!! A RED Barn!!!1 Beautiful... Thanks!
Hugs,
Betsy
I like how that threatening sky looks in contrast to the red barn. Those skies are getting to be way to familiar to all of us!

This is an outstanding SOOC shot. Amazing, really.
This barn has been very well taken care of and beautifully captured in your photo! The threatening dark sky brings out the red even more.
Good One!
The photo is truly wonderful. And, I am envious the storm clouds: drought here. :D
Just love this one. Sunlit subjects and deep dark skies make a great photo.

Always loved a red barn. We used to have walnuts and my sister in Kelowna B.C. grows them naturally and commercially. great fun. MB

Red barns never caught on in the Philippines so I love this!
I love the contrast between the bright sunshine on the barn and the dark clouds behind it
