Police Boat/ Weekend Reflections

Police boat at Virginia Beach, Ontario

I took these photos at sundown on Lake Simcoe as I was standing on the pier waiting for the ferry to arrive from Georgina Island.

I like this photo. Seeing the sun reflection but not the sun makes for an interesting image.

Fantastic light! This is the best time of day for photography, in my opinion. Love boats and water so this one had me hooked immediately.

You like the self-portrait, heh? Very funny! :-) Actually, I thought the pink glasses were a nice touch!

Another of your super water shots! Is Lake Simcoe in East Gwillimbury or just north of it?

One Photo said...

Yes I agree, your water shots are super! Love the color of light reflecting on the water.

They don;t call it the 'golden hour' for nothing, this is beautiful!

RedPat,

Lake Simcoe is NORTH of East Gwillimbury, I confess. But I live on the Black River Watershed which empties into Lake Simcoe so I think it's fair to claim it for East Gwillimbury too. :))

I agree with Sylvia, and also with Pat, this is somehow a very serene scene. Wonderful colours.
