Bum's Rush/ Weekend Reflections

Sleeping, I think

The reflection of these guys' and gals' bums made me laugh. I bet they're embarrassed now that this photo of them is up on my blog.

I just think that they are merely cooperative so photographers like you can get a good photo!

So funny! On one of our local rivers there is a Canada Goose, just one, that has spent the whole winter there by itself, though it's made friends with some mute swans.

You're one of the winners in my recent blog giveaway! Please email me your address to juliet.m.wilsonATgmailDOTcom and I'll pass it on to Yorkshire Water who will then send you your prize (a kit to make fat cakes for your garden birds) directly to you. Congratulations!

Hmmm I wonder if some feathers would make my bum look better???? What a great laugh for the morning! I love it! I did note that they're hiding their faces like any respectable duck would do!! Hope you and the ducks have a great weekend!

Fun shot, somehow Canada geese do not strike me as shy types, they will be showing this photo to all their friends.....

Great shot and title! I really like the composition. Is there ice in the water? Feels like summer here, it's 81F/27C right now.

I wonder if they think of you as paparazzi!

I love your perspective, it puts us right there

You might be picketed demanding that the picture be taken down and an apology issued! (Neat picture!)

I never get tired of seeing these guys, and since the creek behind our house is still open they are still hanging around. Have a great weekend EG.

They look cold!!! Nice capture--I guess it means you were out in the cold too. We'll just do ANYTHING to get a good picture, won't we! Mickie :)

I have to say, the photo was priceless, but the comments have been just as much fun! Aren't you glad you took a chance on embarassing the geese? Look at what we would have missed! However, I am sure the decency police will be knocking at your door at any minute. Hope you have a permission slip signed for the photo! Have a great day!
