Four Red Books/ Ruby Tuesday

Special Edition Ruby Tuesday: Four RED books from my bookshelves

My reading tastes are eclectic, eh?
1. The Soul of Rumi: A New Collection of Ecstatic Poems  ( I highty rwecommend this!)
2. A Theory of Everything by Ken Wilber  (philosophy - a good read)
3. Rush Home Road by Lori Lansens (a fine novel by a Canadian writer)
4. 3 Bowls: Vegetarian Recipes from an American Zen Buddhist Monastery (Yes, I am a vegetarian.)

Seeing red? Why not join in the Ruby Tuesday fun, by visiting MaryT at http://workofthepoet.blogspot.com/

Thanks for all hints!Fabulous books and I'm very curious about that philosophical concept!

Red is such a warm colour, and your red covered books look fascinating. I love vegetarian recipes. I'm not a veggie, but almost, I don't eat meat very often. And my DIL is veggie, so I love to cook for her. But tonight I'm having roast beef... oh well! (Leftovers from our Rabbie Burns Night at the weekend.)

You are well read in the red book department!

When I thought I'd suggest posting RED books for this Ruby Tuesday, this is what I expected: great books I would write down and put on my "TO-Read" list. Thanks so much EG! Well done! :)

I'm not a vegetarian but I love veggie meals. I'm going to look for this book.

Interesting and yes, eclectic. Lois would especially like the vegetarian one...she's been a vegetarian for years, but recently went all the way to vegan!

The upside of that is I get all the ice cream! Hah!

Re: comfy chairs. I was in Lake Sumter Landing last night and it was so cold I couldn't even take pictures, so I went to Barnes & Noble and bought a book!

those books look quite interesting! Wish I can browse. My RT is up here.

Oh, do I want to come visit your library. Never knew you are a vegetarian! Would love to sit down with that book. I love reading cookbooks. I am notoriously bad at properly following a recipe, however.

I will have to check my library to see if they have any of these...

Interesting collection of books, EG. The philosophy one interests me.

Interesting-looking books. This was a great idea to increase our to-read lists.

I saw your comments over at Mary's.
You found an eclectic collection for sure.
I like the fire hydrant best. :)

Looks like you have some good reads to take on while you stare at the snow outside your door.

That red fire hydrant in the snow is smashing! And the snowflakes....snow neat.

I think I would like to read the "theory of everything." I can't imagine what that would be??

Nice selection and you followed directions, using books - I forgot all about it! B : )

I love your book selection. And well I just love books and read most anything---Well i guess i love to read too.

BTW: I had to take my camera back in---each time they fixed it it got worse--so they said they are going to recommend junking it. I should hope!!! Repair is in Conneticut. Wow! So in the meantime I picked up a Canon SX120 and love it. Way smaller and does much of the same stuff. go figure. MB
