He certainly is cooling off. I think I would like to join him, although I'm glad to say we have some much needed rain this week here in Virginia. Great photo of one of my favorite birds.

Great shot. The bird looks so quiet and calm, but there seems to be lots of movement in the water. A nice contrast.

Gulls are cool. Nice beach shot.

You asked how I made the light in an oval? It was partially natural due to the exposure and the in camera processing applied. But I didn't need the camera processing to do that. I just do a strong vignette in photoshop. If you want details, email me, perry@pccaprice.com
