Couldn't sleep this morning and just cruised through 70 some blogs looking for a decent photo of anything. FINALLY I found your frosted fern foto! A wonderful shot. Whew, now maybe I can rest.

Looks like sugar crystals on the edges of the fern leaves! Maybe I'm just hungry for some sweets?

That is just beautiful. I have never seen anything like this in real life!
Your misty sunrise in the shot below is lovely too.

Sorry that is not one of my "joys" of autumn. But, to each his/her own. Heh, heh.

It was not frosty here this morning but a little nippy. Never fear, however, Lois ran/walked 5 miles and I rode along on the bike...damn near froze to death. I think it was in the 50s and windy!

This is a fantastic shot. It almost makes me happy for the cold weather.

I like the lovely mist shot from yesterday too.

This is a truly beautiful image!
We had the first frost of the season a couple of weeks ago but now the temperature is strangely around 15 C...
God bless you!

Joys? Autumn? I can't think of any joys of autumn. Autumn means it is getting cold again.

Have you noticed that every time I visit EG these days I sigh?!!! :-)This is so beautiful. We only rarely have frost, it's too mild at the moment anyway...

So beautiful and delicate, there is something so magical in frosted leaves like that! Why do the molecules stick first to the margin?

That's such a beautiful image! Just coming into summer downunder in OZ - so it's wonderful to be reminded of what'll happen in 6 months time!

Are you sure you didn't glue glitter around the edge of that leaf? I do believe you might have some glue and glitter in a drawer somewhere.

The shape of the fern is so beautiful to begin with....and the frost is such a wonderful addition. You've inspired me to look for more unusual shapes with frost!
