Togetherness/Friday Fences

Facing the camera

On a snowy but warmish day (last Wednesday), these horses were out enjoying some fresh late February air. It was snowing...but not heavily.

I am linking to Friday Fences here.

I love how they both have the same stance and the same level of alertness. Like mirror images facing the same direction.

Oh, how very delightful!

Love this! They're watching you carefully, maybe thinking you'll put them in a nice, warm barn?

We wrap our horses here, too, on our bitter cold days.

Despite the snow,(or maybe because of it?!) they look like they are having fun!

Great composition, the pastel blankets are just the right touch.

I like this a lot. They look like they are expecting an apple to appear from the camera person.

I love this shot! The horses are beautiful, and look very alert in spite of the snow.

This is a wonderful capture, as though both horses are posing for you. I think the colors they are wearing also add to the interest of the photo, as well as the snow. Beautiful!

I love all snowy images, but that's coming from a Southern girl! :-)

The pink and green add a special something to the image as well!

Ditto so many of the other comments: the alertness, the similar stance, the pastel coats, the snow. A perfect shot! Well done!

They seem pretty happy. I don't know the first thing about taking care of horses but I like seeing the owners protect them a little from the elements.

They certainly were nice to pose for you.....they must like paparazzi! It may be because all the horse I try to shoot are country bumpkins, but it seems all I ever get is horse butt! lol

I feel sorry for them but they probably don´t care about the weather. Nice shot, fences and all.

Pink and mint-green coats are very in this early spring as those two beautiful models show. Greetings from Warsaw.

oooh, I get chill bumps just looking at those horses all covered with snow. I know they don't get all that cold... least I think they don't.
