Nice little "stringy" plant that sparrow has lit upon. :-)

We have moved from coats to jackets to nothing today as temps are expected to soar into the mid 70s....our song sparrows have returned to sing too! Happy Spring.

I think I'd be one of the ones still in a heavy jacket but it does look like a great place for walking.

Your world is a lot like mine right now … except some are wearing shorts and going sleeveless and others are still wearing wooly sweaters. I think it has something to do with age rather than climate. :)

Cute squirrel. I would be in the heavy jacket group.

It's still that time of year when you're not quite sure how much to wear!

The squirrel is a cutie!

We have no reds around here, only the greys. And plenty of them. The red ones are so pretty. I was watching a show the other day and they said that where both of them live, the red comes out on top and the greys have to leave. I forget why. What a beautiful lake! If it was near me, I think I would be there all the time and never do any housework. LOVING your spring pictures!

I saw a song sparrow on Saturday and was thrilled to see that sure sign of spring! I love their song.

I would probably be one of the ones in the heavy jacket! (I hate that about myself...always freeze at nothing) The red squirrel is so cute!

Love that squirrel! It doesn't look like our April...

...and some of your are wearing mittens and some of you are wearing hats and it looks like a sunny but "brisk" day. Sunny is good!

It's 25C here but no chance to spot a squirrel and get such a wonderful capture... :-)

Always amazing to me how Song Sparrows can weather the cold and extreme heat. Pretty incredible birds. Enjoy!

You are probably looking forward to warmer weather by now. Great series of shots!

Nothing like being on a beach on a sunny, cold day! Lovely squirrel picture, sadly most squirrels over here are grays not nearly as pretty...

It would be quite cool by the lake I guess. It's so nice to hear the songbirds that are returning isn't it.

I was pleased to see people in your photos. It's not often and as a person who only takes photos of people, it jumped right out at me.

Looking a lot like the beginning of spring! Lovely collection of shots, I really like how the blue pops out of my screen!

We had a staggering 26° here today. Not normal and probably means we'll be freezing in August again!
