Sunday morning we woke up to a dusting of sticky snow that clung to the trees, wires, fences...
All day long we had no wind to speak of. By early evening this is what the world looked like just outside the community I live in. Doesn't this farm look like it was touched with fairy dust?
To me it doesn't look real ...even though I was there and saw it with my own eyes. ;-)
This time of year the snow is gorgeous, isn't it. Come March, I might think differently. ;-)

- East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
Christmas card photos in my opinion! They are so beautiful...we had a little sleet one night but not enough for anything. I will forever get excited when it snows...makes me feel like a child.
I am back; just had to share that we are getting snow flurries...my heart sings!
Beautiful shots. Strangely enough we don't have snow yet here in Regina, but I have a feeling we won't have to wait long. \
Regina In Pictures
very nice photos! reminds me that winter is soon coming to sweden!
These are beautiful. It has been hot in California.... too hot.
Somehow it seems to early for snow, but then I'm in CA and we are having nearly tropical weather at the moment.
Those are beautiful photos!
Oh my gosh those shots are beautiful. I know what you mean about being excited about snow now but later in the year--oh no!.
The first pic looks like a painting. so beautiful--well they all are great. MB
That first one could be a Christmas card! It's just perfect.
Wow. These are just wonderful! And that first one!! If that doesn't look like the perfect Christmas card! Amazing!
WOW, so lovely it doesn't even look real! Looks like a lovely painting!
It is enchanting! It looks like something Currier and Ives or Thomas Kincade would pain.
Seems snow found it earlier in E.Gwillimbury...
I forgot to say, lovely photos of wwinter! Surely are postcard photos!
Beautiful winter photos:) Reminds me to get ready my booties :D
We are also getting snow flurries. Nothing sticking YET!!
I love freshly fallen snow. it is soooo beautiful.
Take care and thanks for sharing your part of the world with us.
EG: Beautiful is not what I thought when I saw the road. We are getting it today and should have 3" by tomorrow.
That is "Christmas Card" perfect! Gorgeous photos! Thank you!
Gorgeous scenery. Beautiful shots. Great your World.
A wonderful start of winter. Beautiful photos
EG, that first shot looks so much like a painting! Frame it and hang it in your living room! Beautiful pix of snow! :)
These look like watercolors - they are gorgeous.
Rose has it - Christmas card for sure.
Looking at your snow reminds me that ours must be on its way.
Last winter the first snow fell in Vienna, Austria, on 16th November. After 2 days it was gone.
The first snow is the most beautiful thing I know! So pure and white, what a pleasure!
Hope we get some snow this year in Vienna - the car drivers would kill me if they knew :)
It does look like your world is covered in fairy dust. So beautiful.
Great shots! Beautiful!
wow, beautiful, post card type.

A perfect snow, a lovely set of photos.
Your World is Monochrome these days. Cold impression, but gorgeous sight.
That first shot is just awesome. It looks like an old fashioned Christmas Card. Absolutely beautiful!
Oh, lovely photos! they'd make great postcards. We'll be lucky to even SEE any snow here in my part of the world.
Wow and yes that first shot in particular looks like a Christmas card. We saw our first squall today.
I fully agree with you. The first snow has an unmatched degree of magic about it. Your fist shot is a perfect Christmas card. Don't you just want to rush out there and burst with the wonder of it all?
I love the snow when it is white like this and when it doesn't cause a power loss....
New Rambling Woods Site
Picture postcard perfect. Gives me the chills in a good way.
Oh my gosh! That first shot looks like a painting! It's all very beautiful, but do you get sick of it by February? Or March? Or April? lol
Can you sell the 1st photo for Christmas cards? Please?
My hubs is a painter, and I called him in to look at the first photo. We both think it's wonderful, and it looks like a painting, not a photo. Amazing.
Definitely the stuff dreams are made of. Very beautiful. The top image is my favorite but all are nice. The top reminds me of a card are something. I didn't make it out to capture the snow today but enjoyed seeing your images.
Brilliant pictures of snow - and you last post with harvest is great! Thank you for your visit and greetings from Croatia.
The first of your 3 photos, especially, really does look like a Christmas card. (And it looks like quite a few of us had the same idea!)
I love it. I would like to be there. The kids, too.
Beautiful, like a painting. I hope we get some snow this year.
I guess you got it too, but not as much as we did. I'm wondering if it is here to stay. The first big snow is beautiful, but it does begin to get old real fast. LOL
the first photo is so beautiful...snow shots always are gorgeous.
we had a dusting, a light one last evening here in my part of the world but not at my home...strange place where i reside.
thanks for sharing.
As pretty as a picture postcard, it seems early for snow but maybe not where you are?
Wonderful and beautiful photos from your world! Love the snow-photos:) It looks like an Norwegian christmas;)
We got a little bit snow a few days ago, but it's nearly gone again. Hope we will have some snow at christmas:)
Our weather is much the same. I like this type of snow - looks pretty, you don't have to shovel it, and it goes away before you get tired of it.
I love these images, nothing at all like here at the moment!
That top one is just perfection. You should frame it in a nice dark wood frame. I came to look at the watery wednesday post but am entranced at your other photos. The red harvester in the snow is lovely, too.
Stunning views ... each and every one.
