Late Winter/ Sky Watch

Late winter sunset over Ontario, Canada

More daylight and warmer average temperatures are what we have to look forward to this month in East Gwillimbury. Yeah, we know winter's not over yet, we could still get tons of snow. BUT it won't last!

You managed to find some fairly fresh-looking snow for this lovely shot. What's left around here is really dirty. Almost makes me wish for a bit more fresh white...nah!

Such a delicate image; I hope you are thinking about framing it or putting it up on a wall unless you don't want to be reminded of winter. It's lovely.

Do you promise it won't last? I really don't think we will get much more, but all of a sudden, I discovered a few days ago that I am just ready for spring...

This picture is so beautiful--love the soft colors in it.

The snow is good for the farmers, despite people wanting there to be none. The mud will come soon enough.

EG: Beautiful capture of the landscape. Our snow is finally gone and everyone down here is tired of it. It will be warm for a week then we will see what happens.

This is a very beautiful scene, even in the last days of winter. This shot would make a great puzzle photo! I can't wait to see what your neck of the woods looks like in spring and summer. It's so lovely in winter...

Darla said...

Wow! Are the colors of the sky really faintly reflected in the snow or is that my active imagination?

If there was a way you could send me some snow. We're all out and it's 75 degrees today. :)

What a beautiful, soft sky. I can almost breathe in that cold, crisp air from here. (Actually, given today's events I wish I could...)
