Each bleeding heart (Dicentra spectabilis) blossom resembles a puffy, dangling locket, pink with dainty white tears. At my latitude they bloom for weeks, brightening up shady spots.

Yes, I'd say that's gorgeous!
I too like bleeding hearts...though like everything they struggle here in Calgary because of the sudden temperature swings.
Beautiful, glorious perfect for Mother's Day :D
I just got some Bleeding Hearts at our Farmer's Market today. They are so unusual and dainty and your phot0 captures both of those characteristics.
Outstanding. I've never tried growing these. You're photo is great.
Beautiful catch in front of the fence! I ahve only seen it once in person and it was quite neglected so yours was a real treat.
Gorgous capture. Beautiful spring flower.

I've been seeing these around the blogosphere lately, and it makes me wonder why I've never had any myself?
Happy Mother's Day!
Ahhh!!! All of the ones I've planted died :-( so I'm always glad to see that others have better luck!
Lovely. I love the oldfashioned garden flowers.
