Standing at the ready. Won't be hard for the fire department to spot that one.Darla
Yez ... it certainly does ;-)Hugs and blessings,
Boy oh boy that red sure stands out in the snow. Good shot, EG.
Yes, it does! Love that little snow cap too! Jealous of all your snow. sigh Just one day here.
Yes, the snow sure does emphasize the red. What a great photo for Ruby Tuesday.
Nice crisp shot!
Great shot very Ruby Tuesday-ish
Yes and it leaves a nice shadow too!
It does - but I hope the water isn't frozen...
Yes - it really do :) Like drops of red blod in the pure, white snow :) Great effect in your photo :)Have a lovely week :)
The red indeed shows up well in the snow. the deep shadows are adding life and depth to your wintry poetry. From Felisol

Pure, pristine capture, EG! Love it! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
I love your red hydrant ... I wish I was there to photograph it too.
Hi. I missed this last week. Love the ruby contrast against the brillian white snow.
That is a substantial ruby. The beautiful snow is untainted, that is until the neighborhood doggies spot it and investigate, A red and white masterpiece.
Amazing how something like a hydrant can create a cool photo. The red against the white snow is pretty!Fire hydrants around here are all yellow.Happy RT, EG!
So simple. Love the shadows and many colors of the supposedly white snow.
Love this! Shadows are wonderful as well.
Red sure does stand out in the snow. I just love that - perfect for Ruby Tuesday!
Excellant EG, and I see someone is keeping it cleaned out in the snow so the fireman an spot it.B.
really pretty the way the snow was cleared and created a swirland the tree shadows are a lovely bonus
Love its shadow too!Art Enthusiast
Lovely color for a fire hydrant.Great Find Ruby
Nice composition...it must be cold because the hydrant is wearing a cap!
That's a great find for RT. It's good the hydrant isn't covered with snow otherwise the firemen can't locate it.
simply beautiful photo. great composition.
With such extreme weather I wonder if the water froze in there?
It sure does, it makes a great subject for a snowy day.
I love the shadows here - the tree, the hydrant itself, and the curve of the snow around the hydrant!!
That's a great shot, with the shadows making it extra special!
Red does indeed show up well in the snow. :) Nice capture!
With all our hot weather at the moment, it seems so strange to see a fire hydrant buried in snow! Great shot!
Love this pic! So simple but stunning!
