Scavenger Hunt/ Critters

 1. Two: One mallard plus one reflection equals two mallards, right?

This week I'm combining Critters with a Scavenger Hunt because it works...sort of.

2. Animal: painted turtle

These  guys are interesting even when they are doing nothing more than sitting on a log!

3. Handwriting: My handwriting

I couldn't get any critters to write anything for me this week! Sheesh!!

4. Frozen

Not exactly "frozen" but it sure didn't appear to move a muscle while I was taking its photo.

5. Nap time

I don't think the mallard knew I was there...or even cared.  Zzzzzz.

Heron's really do have the most remarkable ability to be still.

Your handwriting is pretty good. Mine was never of this quality and has really deteriorated in the computer era.

Turtles are always great. Your handwriting made me think about the fact that cursive writing is no longer taught in some school districts. Not only that, but I've read of instances where some young people working at stores were unable to read cursive when handed a note written in long hand. I never thought such a day would be.

Love the reflections and the colors are beautiful. I get a kick out of turtles sitting on logs... guess it doesn't take much to make me happy! I think it's their little feet.

If you want to get your critters to write something try photographing a secretary bird.

I love the mallard pose! And is that a blue heron? Love the reflection. I love the first mallard's reflection, and the painted turtle's head. Lennon was SO witty!

Wonderful series ... you should have posted on Weekend Reflection ... 'cause you had plenty of them. And, I think you squeeked by with the "two Mallards" ... but, hey, it's all about having a good time, right?
