I think I figured out the air traffic in your area: the child's body they found. Pretty sad. Mount Forest is due west of you and they would have been flying over.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

How did you get she/he to smile?

This is a wonderful macro. The clarity of the detail is amazing.
Incredible macro! It looks so delicate.
Oh, that photo is amazing. Good for you to capture it. And, you have a wee bit of Mellow Yellow in the corner - even better.
Great detail! These little critters are certainly difficult to photograph well!
Great macro, EG. Isn't it amazing how much better we can see things when we look at them using the macro lens???

Wow..look at the detail!! The wing detail is stunning! Sarah
I love the wing detail, and the angles the four wings take, in relation to each other. I never knew they had hairs on their legs!

What an excellent macro! Love the lines in the shot.
What a great shot! I love those funny insects, and your shot really shows a lot of details! How big those eyes are!
That detail & precision... it boggles the mind that we can get up so close on these tiny things. The bristles on the stem are great, too.
Wow, what an amazingly clear shot. GREAT !

wonderful shot seeing all the little hairs on that Damsel!
wonderful photo! I never tire of looking at dragonflies.
excellent shot.
I am going to have to get a macro lens.
Excellent. We do forget just how pretty these can be until you see them close up.
I know from experience how hard it is to get one of these little guys to hold still long enough to get a good shot. Impressive.
