Elecampane/ Scenic Sunday

Elecampane (Inula helenium)

It doesn't seem that long ago that I saw this plant for this time... NOW many fields around town are golden with elecampane. Maybe it has always been there and I have suddenly become aware of it.

So, you're saying the fields surrounding East Gwillimbury are wild with this wild flower which you didn't really see before but are now wild about?

That's good. It is pretty!

Wonderfully composed. I haven't seen this wildflower around here, but I'm going to start looking.

I find it very hard distinguishing among the similar flowers. This one is appealing.
