Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
The colors are just stunning.
amazing, never seen one of these, or even heard of one. looks just like a humming bird, beautiful macro shots
Very nice to see a species I'm not used to - and very nice presented too!
love it :)
I have never seen one of these guys! Such an odd creature. Sorry about your oops problem!
Aren't they just the weirdest things. They are pretty hard to photograph, I have found. None on this side of the mts but they are in eastern washington. I do have some pics I took several years ago.MB
Never heard of them until now. Thanks for sharing. Yes the yellow car. I was trying to remember who posted the the photo of the old taxi. It was you. I talked to the owner. He told me to take as many photos as I want. Apparently he gets numerous visits from photographers. It's an amazing place.
Well, I've never seen one of these before. Your photos are stunning.
We have them around here. Interesting little guys and they are very fast.
Beautiful pictures, I have only seen the hummingbird moths before in Italy and France.
The colors and lighting are wonderful! So very nice!
Great capture of this beautiful fellow. As SCC mentioned we have them here in Eastern WA, I love to watch them.
Great shot - I just love to see these creatures!
Fabulous colors and light EG!
A couple of your best shots ever. You are a wizard with the camers.Darla
Awesome capture! aren't they the most interesting creatures!
Marvelous captures of this beautiful moth... they move so fast! I've tried to snap photos of them and know how hard it is to get a good result so I'm VERY impressed with these! (thanks for stopping by to visit my hoverfly)
Great shot :D I have seen one here recently but, it was too fast for me. I saw a few in Greece too but wasn't quick enough outside but, one day saw one flying around a supermarket. I finally captured (a pretty awful pic) where it took a liking to Armani sunglasses. At least it made all the guys laugh in the wildlife forum :)
What is this? I haven't heard of such a critter. But I'm impressed...I can't even get a good picture of a hummingbird, much less a moth. You rock!
What an interesting winged creature that you have captured beautifully! The colors are truly eye-catching!
Great captures, EG!
Great shots, they are cool looking moths.
Fantastic! I haven't heard of this moth before. Great timing.
Great shot! My first time to see hummingbird moth
