This is a beautiful pastoral scene. It is so peaceful looking with the grazing cows and that lovely landscape behind. Fine image.

This shot could be used to define "pastoral", lovely.

This is a terrific shot of a terrific place, EG. I was just looking at some of my pictures from a trip to Italy four or five years ago, and the one of a big field is the one I stopped on. It looked much like yours.

Is the haze caused from pollution? Or just because of the intensity of the light?

Lovely tranquil scene.

If you fiddled with this photo a bit I bet you could turn it into a landscape 'painting.' I'd be tempted to do so.
