Fascinating trim work in the first photo. I'll bet you can't find that pattern at Lowe's.

Your photos make it hard to believe it's winter.

That first shot is especially good; a real winner and very artsy and it would probably win a prize in a shadow contest!

Shadows is cool, it tells how the subject looks in another way.

This is a fun grouping of photographs for Sunlit Sunday. The first one really grabs my attention, with the interesting shapes so clearly repeated in the shadows. Wow.

I have seldom so many interesting shapes, colours, lights and shadows collected in one place - especially prominent in your first photo.

Lovely sunlight and shadows - the first one is stunning. I never noticed things like that until I started taking pictures. And now I'm on the hunt for them! Happy Sunday!

Love them all but the first one looks like a huge Alice in Wonderland key!

I really like that first one. Almost ornate white that eyecatching shadow.
I love the sunshine too. Now if the fog would burn away we would have some sun. MB

You captured the light and shadow perfectly! The gingerbread trim and skates made very interesting subjects. Smiles...Susan

Sunshine and shadows are wonderful subjects to take pictures of. I just love your skates hanging and the shadow they create. You don't see any gingerbread like on the old houses as years ago, at least in Canada they don't seem to use it anymore. Perhaps gingerbread will make a come back. I love your photos of the trim.

Great way to show sunlight by the shadows. Coming over from Sunlit Sunday.

Shadows let us see the shapes without the distraction of colour. The cold air makes the sunshine just that much brighter. I really enjoy the design in the 1st photo. The shells in the last post are very interesting, too.
