Baldwin

Baldwin, Ontario, east of the dam

This photo was taken a couple of months ago BEFORE Ontario became a giant iceberg floating amongst lakes Ontario, Erie, Huron and Superior. (BTW: Did you know that the only Great Lake that Ontario doesn't touch is Lake Michigan?)

This photo was taken on the Black River in Baldwin just north of East Gwillimbury where I live.

you show such interesting places that I know I want to visit. Mind you just discovered there was a great HomeSense in Newmarket the other week!! I know more of the west side of the 400 rather than the East side.

I am right handed by the way, and just technically challenged when it comes to knitting!!!

That place should be mine...or I should have one like it maybe. You could stop and visit! No, I did not know that about Ontario!. Learn something new almost every day in blogging. Would be wonderful if I could remember it all.

What a wonderful old house. And look at the glorious sun porch! But even better is the reflection! Is it all forlorn and by itself, with no neighbors?

I love the pre iceburg picture and wish it was a post iceburg picture. A lovely place and wonderful reflection. No, I didn't know that Lake Michigan was the only Great Lake that Ontario doesn't touch ... very interesting piece of trivia ... Where I live, Lake Michigan is the only Great Lake we do touch ... hmmm three to one, you win :)

Perfectly beautiful reflection. Hope it warms up for you soon, but maybe not too fast, I suppose that might cause flooding problems? I know very little to nothing about heavy snow and ice.
