Elgin Pond

Fence where road goes over Uxbridge Brook enters Elgin Pond

Often when the rest of Elgin Pond in frozen, there's open water at this end.

it all looks very chilly! Love the way that names are borrowed from all parts of Britain (and elsewhere) and sit right next to each other; Elgin is in Scotland, Uxbridge near London!

The fence seems to need some slight repair, but the surrounding lake and ice seems very peaceful and relaxing.
