A/ABC

 Abandoned

This house looks do sad! It makes me wonder who lived there once and why they left the place to let it slowly fall apart.

Two letter Scrabble word, pronounced ʻAʻā

According to the Oxford Dictionary, aa is is very rough , jagged lava rock with a "frothy texture." Apparently aa is found in Hawaii.

Good morning, I love the abandoned house. I am sure it was a happy home at one time. Sad to see it now looking lonely.

The abandoned house is incredibly photogenic, the imagination could work overtime on the 'why's' here. Aa, well I never, love to learn something new every day, merci beaucoup EG :)

One wonders how long that old place will still stand.

The walls of that house have,no doubt experienced a lot of life.It would be interesting to know what some of that was.

Funny thing, although this one is a bit smaller, and way in need of TLC but it looks a lot like the first house my hubby and I owned! I like your AA word too, and I've used it before too!

Haven't played Scrabble in donkey's years... I love the abandoned house. Should be a book cover and the beginning of a story!

A sad sad house, EG! ;-(

What a strange little house! What's with all the random extra pieces of wood around the windows? Is this some funky art installation? Most bizarre, and yes, sad.
Love the picture of the outdoor rink on the lake. We have a small shallow lake nearby and the town usually is able to clear a sizable area for skating. Nothing better than skating outside on the perfect winter day.

That old house looks like it was the perfect "tiny house" doesn't it. I love the character it has. Looks lonely though.

It is also a small river in the north of France, 50 miles, 80 km, but unknown to Google for some reason. To be found in any french dictionary, I just double-checked

I always wonder about those "Scrabble" words. When I hear someone use aa in casual conversation, I'll believe it's a real word! ;-)

So sad about abandoned houses. I would be very frustrated with the aa scrabble word!!!

When I see old abandoned houses, I like to think the people built a new, more modern, and spacious house to live in.

I use this word frequently in Words With Friends. It comes in handy at the end of the game and you have a lone "A" left and nowhere to put it! I'm a real fanatic on WWF. I have an account with one user name on my iphone and another account with another user name on my tablet. It's a real time-waster but, oh, so fun!

That house looks like it was once a very sweet place. I agree with ciel: it should be a book cover, or the subject of a story.
"Aa!" Now that you definite it it does seem very Hawaiian.

Joy said...

I like how close the trees are, almost as if they are becoming part of the house.

Cool old house. Aa, huh? I think I would challenge that one if my scrabble-mate tried it.
