Three Unpainted Barns

On a country road, I forget where

Three  barns from my archives: all photos taken in Ontario under blue or mostly blue skies.

November 2015 in Innisfil (I think)

Do a lot of the barns in your area have curved roofs? Just an observation! The silo dome in that last picture is interesting! I'm glad it wasn't my job to paint that!

the first is beautiful and reminds me of a film decor!

They are all so unique, I love them!

I wonder if those barn types are specific to our location?

Lea said...

The second one is my favorite!

If you knew these locations, you could do some sort of game show, "Guess where the barn?" Everyone would have to put up say, $1,000. All you would need is 10 people with a grand prize of $5,000. You'd take home $5,000."

Isn't that a great idea? :)

Or not.

The 3 barns though unpainted, blended well with their surrounding.

Thanks for sharing this mystery collection of barns. The snow certainly sets them off! I hope that there are a bunch more barns in your neck of the woods to share.

Oh, my, EG! I love all three, and especially the second one. I would love to have seen how they did the roof. I cannot even imagine putting the roof on.

Lovely barns and lovely pictures, I do secretly like the snow shots best..

I will take all three thank you very much. I am the lover of unpainted barns. It looks like there is still snow up there. Ours is FINALLY starting to melt. These three barns are super. What great finds.

I love that last photo. So light with that pop of color on top of the silo. Nice.

Magnificent old barns! I really like the red and white stripes on that silo too.

Some fine looking barns. I love the old gray patina of he unpainted wood.

These are all great images, but the architecture of that curved roof is really neat.

What a fine collection! The light and shadow and the blue sky against the snow in the first one is my favorite but I like all three. That curved roof is really interesting and sort of mimics the round hay bales nearby. And I'm starting to believe that a silo is a big bonus with any barn.

Excellent captures and all looks fine with the natural texture and color!

I love them all!

Love the unpainted barns. They are my favorites. But that last one has to be my favorite with that bright red striping on top of the silo. That is a real eye catcher. Great finds.
