Another country fence
AH! "Country roads, take me home to the place I belong..." (Anyone else remember that John Denver song?)
The road this fence runs beside
Well, I don't belong in West Virginia (I COULD, though!) but I sure do like country roads.
I am linking to Good Fences HERE
Beautiful shots! Winter roads are very cute. I greet! :)
Love these snowy country roads and fences!
Nice winter scene Camera Girl. I thank you for keeping all of this snow away from the GTA. ❅❅❅
A wonderful winter snow scene and nice wooden fence.:)
Who doesn't love a country road, eh?
I too love country roads and this is beautiful with fence along, and the winter snow makes it wonderful!
Lovely winter scene, (says the woman who hates winter) it reminds me very much of a road near where I lived as a child.
Beautiful photos and happy memories!
Hello, pretty snowy fence shots. I love the country roads too. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Pretty pretty my favourite fences. Country Roads bring me home too:) Hug B
Very pretty photo of the road with snow!
I remember the song and it fits, even in Ontario. ;-)
really, really nice!
i love John Denver, such a great voice. the hubby & i always play that song we hit the roads 1st out of the band. get the trip off started great!! here we come country roads or any road we have never driven on before. so cool!!! love the snow. ( :
I don't live in WV either but close enough to relate to hilly winding roads.
"Ah, yes, I remember eet well!"
I love a good country road - the only way to travel.
Love the country road with that lovely fence
Roads here are finally looking like this.
Supposed to be 71 here today. That's my kind of winter.
awwww, very nice, really nice!!! i am going to get snow this weekend, i am sooooo excited!!!!
Love these photos. I don't see these scenes here in central Florida! :)
put Country Roads on that second one and it makes a perfect post card. i love it
I definitely remember that song - I know all the words too! What a gorgeous fence. There is something so solid and symmetrical about it.
Very pretty photo.
I remember going to a John Denver concert in about 1971. He really put on a good show. Country roads definitely have a lot of character, and it's pretty hard to stop on the side of a freeway and take a pic of a wildflower!
I love those. The second fence and road are great.
Lovely snowy scene and fences.
All that snow is a delightful sight!
Being a country person most of my life, I still enjoy traveling the country roads.
Cold, a bit scary, and in its own way really spectacular!
Yes, I do remember that song. You found a terrific old fashioned fence. Never see rail fences like this in the Midwest. They just don't exist here.
I loved John Denver...and who wouldn't want to be from West Virginia when listening to it. And have you ever heard his Wrangel(/Wrangle) Mountain Song?
Love this fence, this road, that snow. I hope you got to take a lot of photos.
Beautiful captures for the day, as always, and I could hear John Denver singing in my head!!! Wonderful!! And I do love those snowy, country fences!! Hope you have a lovely day!!
I've always loved country roads. I told the Cowboy on Sunday I wanted to take a drive in the country. Unfortunately it'd be about 2 hours or
more to find any country!
I love the old fences.
Thanks for sharing.
One of my all time favorite songs. I was and still am a big John Denver fan. Great shot of this particular country road.
Perfect photos for that song! xx
Love that old John Denver song and also love those wooden fences.
Oh yes I know that song!
These are great shots, EG!
WV--not far from here. :-)
That is a very pretty country road and fence. What a great old song Country Roads is.
Those are really pretty scenes....I love the way snow clings to pine trees.
Beautiful coat of snow on these.
We just LEFT West Virginia and went back to D.C. to avoid the (perhaps 3 feet) incoming snow. (It'll be here, too, but at least we wouldn't be stuck on the mountainside.)
Love the song and the fence shots. They are lovely.
Love, love, love!!!
These are absolutely beautifl!
Either of these shots is frame worthy. They're both wonderful.
