Red Squirrel/Camera Critters

 Oh, hello there!

(This is a conversation a friendly squirrel had with us a few days ago in a conservation area east of here. It eagerly watched us, hoping we had some tasty tidbits to share.)

I'm wondering...do you have any peanuts?

So what do you say, huh? Huh?

very much enjoyed your conversation in the conservation... that is hard to say or type. your squirrels are so much bigger and prettier than our skinny little brats down here.

squirrels always seem to be chattering on to anyone who will listen! I wish we had more of these red squirrels.

"Nuts, they found me!"

these little guys are so stinkin' adorable! we don't get them here - just fox squirrels.

Yes, we got no peanuts! Last year I laid out about 20 peanuts in the shell for the squirrels around our oak tree. They were even on a concrete stepping stone so they were in clear view. Would you believe it took those scampers over a week to even find them? I guess they were too busy robbing the bird feeders!

I think he's actually looking for any pink tulips to bite the blooms off of them! :S
They only look cute until they ruin your beds. ;)

What a cute little fellow. I can never find one willing to sit long enough in one place for me to snap the picture. These captures are fabulous...so full of detail and texture. Wonderful photography. genie
