Birdbath/ Watery Tuesday

This is what a blue jay looks like when it's taking a bath. This one was splashing, singing, hopping around. It was so funny to watch it with its feathers all puffed out. I'n still chuckling - it looked sooooo silly. ;-)

Wow, what a catch ! Your previous bird is one of the last photos I looked at before I went to sleep yesterday, and guess what : I dreamed about that bird, there were tens of them, sitting on a bridge, a good dream :-)

What an amazing looking Blue Jay. It's interesting to see the differences compared to the ones we have here in southeast Alaska. Ours don't have any white on them.
Great shot!:)

Super shot!! Did you sing 'Splish Splash you are taking a bath'. haha. Our blue Jays are actually Stellar Jays and are solid blue. Like the ones Gwyn was mentioning.
You always have great shots. MB

That shot of Birdie Bathtime is terrific! I keep a birdbath full of water all summer too, and it's hilarious watching the grackles trying to push each other out of the water... There's only room for one in here!

Having just re-read my comment, I see that it is not as clear as I intended. I'm talking about blue hair, (which is funny)... not blue skin (which is yucky and just plain wrong).
