Mid November - REALLY?

Snow on bench, 'Diablo' Ninebark behind

Can it really be mid November? Already?? The weather has been a little of this and a little of that.  Snow flurries...

 Raindrops on roses, whiskers on...

and rain and sleet.

 Kitten grey squirrel

Yep, the squirrel has whiskers!

Sunshine is a photo op this time of year!

Yes, and we saw sunshine for a while...but I hope you didn't blink and miss it!

Love that first shot! Poor rose and that is one chubby squirrel. I think he has stored up for the winter.

I like that dusting of snow on the bench in front of the flaming bush. :) And the squirrel sure is fat! I think the roses have seen the end of their bloom. Pretty photos. Mixed bag of snow, freezing rain and rain coming here today.

Very "cool" series! I can't believe November is soon to be history! That is a chubby little squirrel!

It's going to get cold here tonight - forecast is for 27 degrees F. That's absolutely crazy!

Thank you for the fun autumn still photos, I wish ours was still here. Well it is, it's just buried under all this snow! Great photos!

Beautiful late fall shots. Love the dusting of snow on the bench.

Snow already! Is that a sign of a hard winter ahead?

The Cranky said...

We had a few inches of snow... but no squirrels quite as 'fluffy' as that one!

That bench dusted with snow is such a beautiful image. We are experiencing freezes much earlier than normal. So weird. I will not worry about that squirrel; he has plenty of insulation there. :)

Love the rose picture, but that squirrel is WAY too fat!

I also took a picture of snow on roses yesterday -- the rugosa kind of rose, though.

When you are all happy for the sunshine, we have a lot here, but we hope for a little cold from the northern countries winds! At least we are now getting a bit lower temps, courtesy of the Easterlies.
