Red-Tailed Hawk

Red-tailed Hawk

Last Wednesday I was lucky to see this handsome red-tailed hawk sitting in a tree right above my head!  Isn't he handsome?  I took several photos before he'd had enough of me and flew away,

If you want to feel really old today, I have a bonus for YouTube video for you to watch about how today's kids react to "old" film cameras:

Take a deep breath and be prepared to smile or laugh!

I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.

HI EG Great capture of the Hawk. I watched the video and I laughed at it. It is amazing how things have moved on and the young have on idea how pictures where taken in our day.

That is a great close up!
The video was pretty funny. So many things that we used are now obsolete. It does make me feel old when I think about it.

Oh, yeah, would love to get a shot of a hawk like that. Looks like one I might see stuffed in a museum instead of live on a tree.

Fabulous shot of this handsome bird. I saw a lot of hawks while traveling today, all sitting on telephone wires along the road.
