Yellow caboose
Y is for YELLOW
This yellow caboose is a tourist attraction at a hamburger place just south of Cottage Country on Ontario Provicial Highway 11.

Ice on yellow pine needles
A leftover photo from last December's ice storm. Let's hope we see nothing like that treacherous storm this year! Although I do admit it was fun taking photos of the aftermath.

No longer the last car on a train this is about the only place one will see a caboose any more.
Lovely yellows EG. The last one is a magical gift from Mother Nature, but no, I hope you don't get a bad ice storm this winter.
LOVE LOVE the yellow and yes we can wait for that beautiful last shot:) Hug B
I am always looking for a nice yellow color in nature and objects when I go out. And it's really hard to find sometimes. Your images are great.

i like the yellow caboose better than a red one.. it looks happy and that ice needle is art sculpture
the ice on the pine needles is a fabulous shot!
Ah, I presume that burger joint would be Webers?
Lovely shots. I was also going to say Weber's.
I've never seen a yellow caboose. I remember waving to the guy at the end of the train as a kid.
very cute caboose. (that sounds bad...) ;)
I love taking photos of the ice after a storm!! Sometimes I wish I could keep some of the stuff I find encased. It would make such wonderful earrings...
When I was a little kid, I loved watching trains pass by and always waited to see the caboose. This is a nice use of an old train car.
Ah, I loved those cabooses when I was little, too!! How fun! I'm glad they saved it!! Great shots for the day as always!! Hope your week is going well!!
The yellow caboose is cool but the flower, frozen in ice, would be my choice.
Unusual to see a yellow caboose. The pine needles are so pretty!
I bet that is a fun place to go. Love the ice pic too ... But hope your winter is a bit milder this go-round.
Superb variety to eyes related to yellow! Nice frames

You scared me a bit with the ice shot, EG! Love the yellows you showed today.
I've sometimes thought old cabooses would make great mobile offices. :-)
Love the caboose!
WONDERFUL post today. I love the yellow caboose, it is really pretty and well kept. Reminds me of the red one I showed at the McDonald's a few weeks ago. But yours is prettier and well cared for. OHHHH, your ice on the pine needles is a masterpiece, really! I have never seen anything like it! It looks like a golden ice flower. You really should blow it up, frame and hang it somewhere.
P.S. If I tried to snap this ice flower, I would slip and break my neck! How did you do it?
It has been so warm here in Berlin (16 degrees today), I don't even want to think about snow and ice! Hope you will have a milder winter this year. Love the yellow caboose.
thanks for all your comments on my blog :)
I really like that Yellow caboose
Very cheery post. I love the last image, especially. We were lucky to avoid that ice storm.
Tex just cracks me up.
That caboose is a very brilliant yellow. There was a house in my town that was painted that color (brighter, actually) with blue trim. It was more than noticeable, and I think the owner did not like peoples' reactions, because a few months later it was repainted with a more tame color.
I'll be in the shop!
Lovely collection of yellows.. The caboose is great and the ice is a beautiful capture.. Great shots! Enjoy the rest of your week!
Beautiful yellows themes. Love them all.
Great yellow photography for Y!
Happy Week to you

For a long time trains and trams in Holland were yellow. But I love your artsy capture of the iced pine needles!
I just LOVE yellow...it's such a happy color! Great finds!
the ice/frost looks lovely on the yellow pine needles
Yippie!...yellow yielding yictures. Very neat!
I like the yellow caboose.
I'm the thickie from Down Under who has never heard of a Caboose (had to google it!) mind you as the Mum from Melbourne we never hear of ice here either apart from that we purchase in bags when we have a big party coming up - ha ha!!
Great photos :)

I like your Yellow Caboose, Ms. TG. Let us hope they stay in place there and not roll away.
I wanted to change the Yellow Submarine song to Yellow Airplane but I waited too long.
Our cabooses are red, maroon, and green here. The green come from Mexico, I suppose if I see a yellow one it will be from Canada.
..
I think they chose a great colour of yellow for this cab. I love the last shot very much.
Really bright yellow pictures.. love the caboose the best :)
Great yellows - I want to visit that store.

Love the icy flower!
Every shot is perfect! Great Y post...
The caboose is history now, but I only remember red ones. I enjoyed seeing a yellow one!
Three nice yellow choices, EG. I don't usually associate cabooses with yellow.
The last one looks so magical.
The yellow caboose is a fun find....lovely series as always♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/zowie-pop-art/
