I've never grown clematis, and I always admire them in other folk's gardens. Such lovely textures and colours. Beautiful flowers.

Super photo and I don't think I've ever seen a clematis. The petals are so very delicate.
Hi EG, As George said, our Clematis has grown and grown --but hasn't bloomed as much as it usually does. Oh Well.. It has the exact same color blooms as your photo has.
