- East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
This is just spectacular! What a beautiful place to live.
That is SO nice. You are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. Of course I love any picture with a horse. LOL MB
I "feel" the cold that horse "feels"!
There's alot of great things going on in the photo. The colours and tapestry of the sky are great contrasting with the snow and the horse on the ground, but seperated by the darker treeline. A nice story has been told.
WOW, love the photo!!
Thanks for sharing
have a nice weekend!
A sky on fire above a land in snow ... Heat opposite cold ... Very nice juxtaposition of these contradictory elements! Have a nice week-end!
Oh, wow! gorgeous sky and the snow! made me shiver! Thanks for the beautiful photos!
I am so grateful to SkyWatch,
visiting you always fills me with sheer pleasure, all your pictures, not only today's. Thank you for sharing them. :-)
Oh that's wonderful, the way the colors compliment each other. The sky makes the blue bluer, and vice versa. Really nice capture!
This should be a Christmas card! Gorgeous!
Lovely scenery - perfect for a nice cup of tea or coffee...
You have got this most incredible photos on your blog! This sky shot is spectacular. I bow to your superior skills.
Canada just has a bigger sky, there's no getting around it. I wonder if horses and such think about the beauty of sunrises, they're out in them more than we are.
A perfect scene, wow !! Real good ! And the four deer are gorgeous too.
Beautiful color on this spectacular pictures!
Tremendous shot once again, I love it.

What a beautiful pastoral scene. Love the glorious sunset too.
EG: Stunning sunset, I love that time as the sun reaches the horizon.
Wow - love the colour contrast.
The sky is burning! But the snow os somewhat a contrast to it, the horse still calm...and looking at you too!
wonderful snow; beautifully shot and deliciously frigid looking
This is one of those simply devine shots. Such a huge sky and clolourful too. The horse looks very small under it. Love the snow too.
They sky is spectacular, but the snow makes it even more so. Wonderful capture!!!
This is a great picture, the horse was taking notice of something else I feel.
Thank you for sharing.
What an amazing photograph, with such a beautiful contrast between the cold snows of the paddock and the fire and drama overhead.
The horse's pose and your composition make it something out of this world, really special.
Thank you for sharing it--it's spectacular.
Holy Cow - are you familiar with "Country" magazine? Your photo could totally have come right out of there! Absolutely stunning.
Beautiful photo for sky watch friday, combining a colorful sky with the quiet white snow covered foreground is very eye catching.
Thanks for sharing with Sky Watch Friday and your kind comments on my post earlier.
Wow!! I envy you because of the snow and ..... the gorgeous sunset!
How did you get the horse to pose so nicely for you? Beautiful sunset. Stunning.
Fabulous. Had to laugh at the comment about getting the horse to pose. Too, funny.
the most beuatiful sky of this day
You know... as I go through these sites week by week, occassionally, I come across that shot that really strikes me and causes me to just stop and take pause. This is absolutely amazing! I am truly blown away by it!
The icicles on snow, the sepia deer and then this awesome sunset. It's always such a joy to visit your blog.
SWF#:View From The Top
That is sensational.
Wow!!! You live in such a beautiful area! Happy SWF. :)
Oh, now that's a beautiful sunset - Very nice Sky Watch Friday capture!!
What a gorgeous sky and well composed picture. There aren't many winter sunsets this beautiful.
It looks like fire in the sky! I hope the pony apprediated it.
I love your photo. It is so quaint and lovely.
There are so many nice things about this shot but since this is Sky Watch, I'll just talk about the sky. Wow! It's really beautiful!
Like as if it's on fire.
Stunning shot that is too beautiful for words ;)
what a beautiful golden yellow sunset set against the snow...
That gorgeous sunset makes the snowy foreground bareable. Great SWF.
Any picture with a horse in it is interesting, but this one is stunning.
It looks as though someone took a paintbrush and made a perfect display of yellow and gold in the sky! It's breath taking. Nice shot! I'm looking at the sky here.
Now that is one pretty post card perfect photo. Just love the colors
Oh my this is gorgeous.
After seeing so many of your photos, you must live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. :)
This is beautiful!
Very spectacular. Wonderful colors!
I like the photos below too :)
You're right the photos were from the beginning of November, but everything still looks like that outside here.
Beautiful. I like your conifer wind and snow break. Should thicken out nicely in a few years.
great contrast between the firey sky and the cold snow with the lonesome horse.
The contrast of the blazing sun and the frozen (or snowy) ground is really interesting.
An amazing E.Gw.WOW!!! photo!
Simply beautiful and so peacefull
the horse in the image does it for me!
This is a beauty! And I still go back and stare at the one below with the deer.
I see from your photo that winter has come to your region! How beautiful it is!
Vienna (and Austria) has many "wild" places indeed. The town planning is quite good, but the citizens take care of wild nature, too.
Have a nice weekend and thanks for visiting my blog!
Cold but so lovely
Lovely photo - quintessentially winter scene.
PS - The only advantage to being a little behind on skywatching is the chance to see what's been posted since Thursday or Friday. Love "Hee-Haw"
What a stunning Sky Watch entry!
