Ornamental Strawberry/ Macro Monday

Fragaria 'Pink Panda'

Various shades of pink ornamental strawberry blossoms - each about one inch across - cover the ground in one of my gardens all summer long, although they bloom most profusely in late spring.

lovely! My dad grew strawberries for a living and I thought I had seen everything strawberry-wise, but I've never seen a pink ornamental strawberry!
I was given some strawberry plants for a mother's day prezzie this year, but they were regular white ones, not pink! looking forward to the harvest!

Pink Panda? Sounds like one of those fruity drinks with the umbrella in it. But it makes a cool photograph!
